Mountain Shadow Camp Ground - Iskut Valley
The Mountain Shadow Camp Ground is located in the beautiful Iskut Valley of British Columbia, Canada. It is in the northwestern part of British Columbia just off the Cassier-Stewert Highway. The campgrounds is located at the north end of Kluachon Lake. They are in a park-like setting with awesome views of mountains and the lake. There are wilderness hiking trails and fishing in the lake.
These campgrounds are away from the noise of the highway, clean and restful. It is a great place to camp. We set up our tent early, put on our day packs and took the hike to the lake and a little further around the lake. We were the only campers there the night we stayed, and we had the whole thing to ourselves. We got back to the camp, took a shower, and lit our camp fire. It was so peaceful, we could have been out in the wilderness with no other people near. If we are back in this area again, we will stay here. It was great!
